Our goal is to make you feel right at home. We want you to come and experience a time away from your world without giving up on many of the comforts of your own home. A guest computer with DSL internet is in our common living room on the first floor for your surfing needs. There is also a T.V., sofas, books and games to help you relax or just pass the time away.
There is a small refrigerator with sodas and bottled water plus a microwave on the second floor where all of the guest rooms are located.
Need to call a loved one far away? We also have free long distance calling (please ask before you make an international phone call) in all of our guest rooms.
In the morning, wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee brewing or pick from a selection of tea served with your hearty breakfast. We will not serve you anything that you don’t want, just please let us know when you call or email us when you make your reservation if there are foods you prefer to not be served to you. At the University Avenue Bed & Breakfast you will not go away hungry. We make sure that each guest is served a breakfast that fills them up right.
For the animal lovers (sorry, we can’t accommodate pets, but…) we have a back deck from which you can relax and watch Bob and his friends. There are bird feeders, squirrel feeders and our “resident squirrel” Bob, will do what he can to help entertain you.
Best of all, our nightly rates are always the same. We never raise or lower rates based on time of year, special city and college events or holidays. However, for some events, we do require that you to stay a minimum of 2 nights. But for all of what you get, why wouldn’t you?
The University Avenue Bed & Breakfast is within
walking distance of the University of Missouri (5 minutes), Stephens
College (15 minutes), and Columbia College (35 minutes). We are about
1.5 miles from all of the University of Missouri sporting complexes (Hearnes
Center, Faurot Field, and Mizzou Arena).
